a break-down of sorts
I feel so small right now. I just looked through the AAF Cleveland website and saw all the people…all the agencies…all the creative things. I just realized how many people there are to meet, and how much traffic that I have to fight through.
This semester has been great so far. I’ve worked on my portfolio, have met some great people, and feel good about where my life is....
Today...
I got a letter that I wrote my freshman year of college, that we gave to our professor. It was from my “freshman” self, to my “senior” self, and he said he would send it to us when we were on the cusp of graduating. I think I said, “I have good grades right now, I hope you do too.”

a lesson in idea-ology
So far this semester, I’ve tackled the idea of an idea. I’ve read books, talked to people, and have even spent money and gone downtown for 3 hours a week for other people to tell me what a good idea is. I’m not an expert by any means, and the paradigm of good ideas may never be understood, but I wanted to share what I have learned, and the lessons that I have admired in the past...
