Not as well as I’d like to, but still, I write.

Often, it’s for clients. Rarely, it’s for myself. (For those paying attention, this post would fall under the “myself” category.)

As a writer, or as I should say, a copywriter, there’s a few unwritten laws. I break most, if not all of them.

I rely heavily on spell check and the zigzag lines on iPhone Messenger.

Like most, I don’t read enough.

Damn, I love sports. So much, that watching them dominates the time I should be working, or learning something new, or anything for that matter.

The point here isn’t to reiterate my faults. It’s to hold myself accountable.

So here’s a promise and a penance. A proclamation, if you will.

I’ll write more. Specifically, for myself.

And if I don’t, well, then I failed to keep my digital word.

But if I do, I’m sure I’ll look back to this post and say, “Man, you sure were feeling inspired that night, weren’t you?”

On certain days, I believe it would be ideal to be slightly skilled at many things.
